The Myton Hospices was thrilled take part in the Cheap Thrill Hunting pop-up sale on Tuesday 20th March!

Staff from our charity shops specially selected women’s clothing and accessories to sell alongside other local charities at the event at Coventry University’s Square One.

The event was organised by Lily Sadin of @CheapThrillHunting

She said:

The event was successful with over 50 people attending and raising just under £500 for the charities involved! Postcards with information on charity shopping and fashion images featuring second hand clothes were handed out alongside maps with locations for all the charity shops. A slideshow on why we should shop second hand was presented to inform guests of the ethical and environmental benefits of charity shopping and the DJs kept the atmosphere fun whilst shoppers got to pose in their outfits in a pop-up studio.

Thank you to everyone who visited the pop-up sale and bagged themselves a bargain! We hope events like this will encourage more people to buy from charity shops!
