Myton quizzes locals for Hospice Care Week

Monday 3rd October to Sunday 9th October is Hospice Care Week, a national campaign dedicated to celebrating hospice care in the hope of dispelling myths about hospices.

As part of our plans for Hospice Care Week, throughout the week we hosted ‘Myton Mastermind’ at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, The Royal Priors Shopping Centre and The Clock Towers Shopping Centre.

The aim of the interactive quiz is to find out how much people across Coventry and Warwickshire know about Myton and the services we provide and to dispel myths about our care such as the illnesses we are able to provide care for and the percentage of patients who return home from our inpatient units.

We believe everyone over the age of 18 living with a terminal illness in Coventry and Warwickshire deserves to have access to the best possible care and support. We hope ‘Myton Mastermind’ will help address misconceptions that surround hospice care and encourage those who may not have been aware of our services, but feel they would benefit from our care and support, to get in touch.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, The Royal Priors Shopping Centre and The Clock Towers Shopping Centre for their support this Hospice Care Week.
