Our festive 5k saw over 1,000 people take to the streets of Leamington Spa dressed in Santa and elf suits on Sunday, and we are well on our way to meeting our £38,000 target!
After the snow put paid to our original event last year, the Myton Events team breathed a sigh of relief on the morning of Santa Dash to see not a single snow flake had fallen over night! Instead, everyone who took part enjoyed a crisp, sunny morning for this year’s Santa Dash!
Everyone took part in a rousing warm-up led by Mel Pitter and Simon Button returned once again as our festive MC!
The Royal Spa Brass band filled Victoria Park with Christmas ditties and the 100-strong Rock Choir continued to keep people singing in Jephson Gardens! And as they returned to Victoria Park, Santa and his elves were treated to delicious food and drinks from Red Banger, The Spice Truck and the Pug Pubs.

Seeing so many Santas and elves take on this year’s Santa Dash really brought the Christmas spirit to Leamington. We cannot thank everyone enough for their support, without our participants, volunteers and suppliers events like this would not be possible.
This time of year can be quite tough for some people; we just hope that the spectacle of hundreds of Santas running around Leamington Spa to raise money for The Myton Hospices will bring a smile to someone this Christmas!
