Over the weekend, 62 brave adventurers took on the challenge of climbing Scafell Pike to raise vital funds for The Myton Hospices.
This unforgettable experience saw the climbers trek to Scafell’s summit by moonlight and witness the breath-taking views of the sunrise at England’s tallest mountain, standing at almost 1,000 metres.
Through the efforts of the climbers and the generosity of their supporters, over £37,600 has been raised so far! We couldn’t be more grateful to everyone involved for raising such an amazing amount for The Myton Hospices.

We have to say a big thank you to Sky Blue Adventures, whose expert mountain guides ensured a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Without their expertise, our climbers wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the incredible views.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Amazon for their generous donation of food, which kept all 62 climbers energised and fuelled for the trek.

We are absolutely blown away by the support for this year’s Scafell Pike for Sunrise Climb. The participants and their supporters smashed the £27,000 target and we are so grateful to everyone for making this an unforgettable event.
We are a charity and this year we need to raise £11 million of the £14.3 million it costs to continue providing our services free of charge to our patients and their loved ones. Every pound raised really does make a big difference to ensure we can be there for more people, now and in the future.

Standing at a staggering 3560 feet Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales and the second largest in the UK.
Your journey will start in the early hours of the morning as we begin our ascent by moonlight aiming to reach the summit by sunrise.
Witness the breath-taking views from the peak of the mountain and the spectacular landscapes below as the day grows lighter. By taking part you will raise money to help support Myton to care for our patients and their families!
Our highly experienced mountain leaders will take care of you on the day so that can enjoy this magical experience. Travel however to and from Snowdon is not included in this event.
