Over £40,000 raised in memory of our loved ones through this year’s Light Up A Life

Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters who dedicated a light in memory of their loved ones for this year’s Light Up A Life campaign.

An incredible £42,710 has been raised from your generous donations which will help light up our hospices this Christmas and ensure we can be here for more people when they need us most, now and in the future.

Your support could fund a hospice bed for over 90 days, providing essential care and comfort to patients and their families.

Thank you to each and every one of you who donated this year.

Danni Mooney, Individual Giving Manager at The Myton Hospices, said:

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated to this year’s Light Up A Life. The money raised will ensure we can continue to provide specialist palliative and end of life care to people and their families living with life-limiting illnesses across Coventry and Warwickshire.

We would also like to say a big thank you to some of the very special people who helped make Light Up A Life so special.

Thank you to Wilf Smith and Son, Royal Spa Brass, Dunchurch Brass Band, Sue Morris & The Myton Hospices’ Singers, St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, Rugby Male Voice Choir, Heart of England Companion Voices, Students from Avon Valley School, PSL Distribution Ltd, F Weetman & Son, Stagecoach, Sainsburys, UHCW, Hospital of St Cross, Robinson Goss Car & Van Hire, and Central Coop. Your support makes such a difference!

And of course a huge thank you to our staff and volunteers who make these events possible.

If you were unable to attend this year’s Light Up A Life, you can still make a donation in memory of your loved one this Christmas. Your support helps us provide the gift of care to patients and their families.
