We would like to extend a big thank you to the 126 participants who joined us this sunny weekend for the Leamington Half Marathon. Thanks to  your incredible and generous support, you have raised an impressive £42,488 for The Myton Hospices so far!

Our vital work supporting people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, wouldn’t be possible without you!

We would like to give a special mention to our top fundraiser  Charlotte Rochenard-Taylor who raised a staggering £2,055 in memory of her husband James Taylor!

Charlotte, you should be incredibly proud!

We are extremely grateful to have been the Leamington Half Marathon Charity Partner for 2024, with Raceways providing free places for our participants, worth around £3,000. A huge thank you to Raceways for your fantastic support!

We also want to thank the local shops and community groups for donating refreshments and items for our tombola, as well as the special individuals who baked cakes for everyone to enjoy – they went down a treat!

Of course, this event wouldn’t be possible without our incredible volunteers. Thank you to each and every one of you for spending your sunny Sunday with us!

Marc Dwyer, Challenge Events Fundraiser at The Myton Hospices, said:

I’d like to say a big thank you to all our fabulous runners, and everyone who generously supported them, for making this year’s Leam Half truly unforgettable!

This year, we face our greatest fundraising challenge yet and rely on the support of our local community. We are a charity and need to raise £11 million of the £14.3 million it costs to continue providing our services free of charge to people and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the Leam Half, we can be there for more people when they need us most, now and in the future.
