A recent news article posted by the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-34415362) states UK end of life care is ‘the best in the world’, acknowledging the services and care provided by both UK hospices and the NHS.

Our recent internal report reveals a 98% overall patient and family satisfaction rate. Among the comments received through our latest bereaved carers survey, one respondent stated, ‘the inevitable outcome of a terminal diagnosis made so much more bearable by Staff at Myton- enabled my darling Husband to retain his dignity right to the end and I will be forever grateful for that’. Another respondent said, ‘all Staff at Myton including volunteers did everything to make my Wife feel cared for as an individual rather than a number. Could not thank everyone enough’.
Although we are proud of our current satisfaction rate, our healthcare team strives to identify ways to improve everything we do.
