Find out how to set up a MuchLoved page HERE!
When someone you love dies, finding meaningful ways to remember them can bring comfort, not just in the days that follow, but for years to come. That’s why we have partnered with MuchLoved, the UK’s leading online tribute platform, to offer families a special way to celebrate the life of someone important to them.
Creating a tribute page is free, quick and simple. In just a few easy steps, you can set up a lasting online space where family and friends, wherever they are, can come together to remember someone special.
A Forever Loved tribute page can be personalised with stories, photos and precious memories that reflect your loved one’s life and help keep their memory alive for generations to come. Many families choose to return to the page on anniversaries or special occasions by lighting virtual candles, while others use it to share funeral or memorial details. Some people add events or challenges they are taking on in their loved one’s memory, or link fundraising pages, and many use it as a way to collect donations that support the vital work of The Myton Hospices.
After John Pipitone died in September 2024, his family created a Forever Loved tribute page to honour his life. John Pipitone was a dedicated and beloved member of his community. He served 24 years in the Army, worked at a school for 36 years and was a keen golfer.
In 2024, John was diagnosed with cancer of unknown primary after experiencing abdominal pain. After discussions with the referral team and his family, John was admitted to our Warwick Myton Hospice in early September 2024 for end of life care. John’s daughter, Tanya, said:
We were lucky to secure a bed at Warwick Myton Hospice. Everyone was wonderful. The staff were so knowledgeable and compassionate, and made our experience from start to finish as smooth as possible. We were all in awe of the comfort dad was in during his last days, and it meant the world to us knowing he was cared for so well.
John sadly died on 21st September 2024. After John’s death, his family created a Forever Loved tribute page. John’s page is full of photos and stories from those who knew him, and is a real celebration of his life. John’s family also chose to fundraise for Myton through the tribute page, and with additional funeral donations, they have raised over £8,000 in his memory. Tanya added:
We were aware of tribute pages like these but didn’t realise they could be so personalised. Setting it up was incredibly easy, and it allowed us to share the link with Dad’s community so they could remember him in their own way. It was also a convenient way to communicate difficult details, like funeral arrangements. It did everything we needed and more.
Grieving is difficult, and everyone copes in their own way. For me, looking at the photos, reading the wonderful stories people have shared about Dad, and seeing the ongoing support for Myton brings great comfort. We were overwhelmed by people’s generosity. We asked for donations in lieu of flowers, and the response was inspiring. If we can help in any way, even just through the Forever Loved tribute page, we will. Knowing we are making a difference for other families going through what we went through is Dad’s legacy. This experience was incredibly difficult, but if there is any silver lining, this is it.
A Forever Loved tribute page allows you to celebrate a life, connect with family and friends, and support the work of The Myton Hospices. Whether you want to create a place to share memories, bring people together, or raise funds in memory of someone you love, it can be a meaningful way to honour them.
