At Myton, we are very lucky to have three devoted support groups, one of which is our wonderful Rugby Support Group

The Rugby Support Group work very hard in the local area to raise the funds needed to provide the services available at Rugby Myton Support Hub.

The Rugby Support Group consists of 18 members who help organise a number of notable events throughout the year, including a fashion show taking place on Wednesday 27th September at The Rugby Workers Club, the Rugby Pop Quiz taking place at Benn Hall on Thursday 19th October, and the Rugby Myton Craft Fair which is scheduled to take place at St George’s Church on Saturday 28th October.

Members also volunteer at other events organised by The Myton Hospices, including the Retail Donation Drive Thrus, with the next one taking place at Rugby Myton Support Hub on Saturday 29th July, and The Myton Hospices’ Cycle Challenge on Sunday 6th August.

The Rugby Support Group also kindly organise collections at local venues such as Asda and Dobbies, and regularly volunteer to collect tins on behalf of the hospice.

During the last financial year, the Rugby Support Group have raised £6,214.43 and have raised a total of £171.296.48 to date since the group was formed!

It is thanks to the dedication and endless support of the Rugby Support Group that we are able to provide some of the services available at Rugby Myton Support Hub for our patients and their loved ones.

We cannot thank every single member of the Rugby Support Group enough for their continued support.

Our Rugby Support Group are always looking for new members to join them in their fundraising mission for Myton. They meet once a month to discuss plans for the month ahead.
