On Friday 19th September, 19 fantastic teams teed off at The Welcombe Golf Club to support The Myton Hospices.
From start to finish, it was a wonderful day – and an amazing £17,785 was raised to help us continue providing our expert, compassionate care.
Before heading out for 18 holes, golfers fuelled up with delicious bacon rolls – the weather was well and truly on course for a fabulous sunny day of golf, fun and fundraising.

Throughout the day, golfers made the most of the beer buggy, generously supplied by The Engine Pub in Kenilworth, and enjoyed stone-baked pizza courtesy of Dough & Brew.
After the game, guests tucked into a tasty BBQ while taking part in our raffle, auction and spin to win. Lucky winners walked away with some amazing prizes, including a signed 2023 England Rugby shirt, a holiday on the Isle of Wight, VIP tickets to Warwick Races, a two-night seaside escape in North Wales, family passes to Warwick Castle, pub vouchers and much more.

We are a charity, we are not the NHS, and only 17% of our funding comes from the NHS, meaning we have to raise £12.7 million this year alone – that’s more than £1 million each month!
