We at The Myton Hospices are incredibly grateful to everyone at the Rugby Myton Support Group for raising vital funds for their local hospice.
Consisting of 18 members, the group organises a number of notable events throughout the year, including raffles, Easter egg tombolas, store bucket collections, coffee mornings, craft fairs and Christmas Bazaars.
Members also volunteer at other events organised by Myton, including our Retail Donation Drive Thrus, Walk for Myton, Cycle Challenge, Santa Dash and many more!
During the last financial year, the Rugby Myton Support Group have raised an incredible £8,942.55 and to date have raised a total of £180,239.03 since the group was formed!
We are a charity and this year, we have to raise £11 million of the £14.3 million it costs to continue providing our services free of charge to people and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire. It is thanks to the dedication and endless support of people like the Rugby Myton Support Group that we are able to do this.
We cannot thank every single member of the Rugby Myton Support Group enough for their continued support.
Keep a look out for some of their upcoming fundraising events happening this year, such as their Craft Fair at St Georges Church, Rugby, on Saturday 26th October.
Our Rugby Myton Support Group are always looking for new members to join them in their fundraising mission; they meet once a month to discuss plans for the month ahead.
