On Sunday February 28th, more than 4,000 runners braved the harsh British weather to complete this year’s Coventry Half Marathon. Of the 4,000 competitors, an amazing 109 ran for Myton.
Thanks to all their hard work, the 109 runners have managed to raise over £15,000 for The Myton Hospices, of which £10,000 would fund recruitment and training of a Myton nurse for 4 months.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank every single one of the runners who took part in this year’s Coventry Half Marathon on behalf of The Myton Hospices and therefore played a part in raising such an incredible amount of money.
We would also like to congratulate them all on their success by completing the 13.1 mile course, especially all those who have never completed a half marathon before. Dare we say we will see you next year…?
