We’re delighted to announce that acclaimed stage and screen actor David Bradley will join this year’s much-loved Moonlight Walk on Friday 17th April at Warwick Castle. David will officially start the event, showing his support for his local hospice and helping to make the evening truly memorable.
Coinciding with his birthday, David’s appearance offers participants a special opportunity to celebrate alongside him during this special occasion.
Best known for his roles in the Harry Potter film series and Game of Thrones, David will meet walkers before sending thousands of participants on their way through the castle grounds and around Warwick town centre, as they take part in the Midlands’ largest and most popular Moonlight Walk.
The Moonlight Walk brings people together to walk with friends and family in support of Myton, raising vital funds for patients and families across Coventry and Warwickshire. Every step helps ensure we can continue providing compassionate, specialist care when it matters most.
Jason Levy, Director of Fundraising and Supporter Development at The Myton Hospices, said:
Having David join us this year is incredibly special. The Moonlight Walk means so much to so many people – it’s a chance to come together, to remember, and to celebrate.
David’s support helps shine a light on the care we provide every day across our community. It’s an evening filled with fun, reflection, and connection, and we’re proud to have him with us.
David Bradley said:
I am honoured to be part of such a meaningful event. The work of The Myton Hospices touches so many lives, and it is inspiring to see communities come together in this way. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and helping to start the walk.
One of our flagship fundraising events, the Moonlight Walk attracts thousands of participants each year. In 2026, we are aiming to raise over £250,000, with funds directly supporting our care across our hospices and in the community. This ensures patients and their families receive specialist palliative care through some of life’s most difficult moments.
