We have over 1,000 amazing volunteers and without them our work wouldn’t be possible!

To support this and continue to develop this vital area we are recruiting two full time Volunteering Development Officers to join our team!

What will the role involve...

The Volunteering Development Officers will be involved with supporting, recruiting, developing, engaging and retaining volunteers. Previous experience of the recruitment, management and support of volunteers is ideal, as well as a working knowledge of volunteering best practice.

Charlotte Witteridge, Head of Volunteering and Development at The Myton Hospices, said:

We are delighted to be able to grow the Volunteering Development Team at Myton; these new roles will enable us to support and develop volunteering throughout the organisation, and will help to promote a positive volunteering experience. These roles will involve building relationships with a wide range of people to support the recruitment and retention of our wonderful volunteers. This is a really exciting time for us and these posts offer a fantastic opportunity to join us on this journey

If you are motivated and enthusiastic with great communication skills this could be the job for you!
