The Myton Hospices joins Coventry City Football Club for festive matchday fundraising

We’re excited to share that The Myton Hospices will be spending this year’s festive matchday with Coventry City FC and we’d love for you to come and say hello!

On Saturday 13th December, as Coventry City take on Bristol City in their Christmas home fixture, our wonderful team of volunteers will be outside the Coventry Building Society Arena and inside Dhillon’s Brewery, collecting donations to support our work across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Whether you’re heading in early for a pre-match drink or arriving just before kick-off, you’ll see our friendly collectors ready with buckets for your cash donations, and card readers too.

And because it wouldn’t be a Christmas match without a sprinkle of magic… Santa and his sleigh will be joining us to support Myton too!

Bring the family, grab a photo and enjoy the festive fun before cheering on the Sky Blues.

Rachael Ryan, Community Fundraising Manager at The Myton Hospices, said:

We’re so grateful to Coventry City Football Club and to every supporter who takes a moment to drop a donation in the bucket.

These contributions truly mean the world to us. They help to ensure we can care for patients and families when they need us most, and especially at this time of year. We can’t wait to see everyone on matchday!

Every donation you make helps us continue providing the compassionate, specialist care that so many local people rely on. We only receive 17% of our funding from the NHS and this year, we need to raise £12.7 million to keep our services running. Matchday collections like this play a huge part in ensuring more people can access the care they need and deserve, now and in the future.

If you’re heading to the game, keep an eye out for our volunteers from 1pm. Thank you as always for your ongoing support… and PUSB!
