At Myton, we are very lucky to have three devoted support groups, one of which is our wonderful Rugby Support Group.
The Rugby Support Group work very hard in the local area to raise the funds needed to provide the services available at Rugby Myton Hospice.
Rugby Support Group consists of 25 members who help organise a number of notable events throughout the year including the Rugby Myton Bazaar which will be taking place on Saturday 12th November this year and the Rugby Myton Hospice Craft Fair which is scheduled to take place at St George’s Church on Saturday 2nd April.
Members also volunteer at other events organised by Myton, including the Grand Trivia Quiz which will be taking place this year at Benn Hall in Rugby on Thursday 3rd March and the Rugby Pop Quiz also taking place at Benn Hall on Thursday 13th October.
The Rugby Support Group also kindly organise collections at local venues such as Homebase and Sainsbury’s and regularly volunteer to collect tins on behalf of the hospice.
Over the past 11 years, the Rugby Support Group have raised an incredible £124,614 for The Myton Hospices.
It is thanks to the dedication and endless support of the Rugby Support Group that we are able to provide the services available at Rugby Myton Hospice for our patients and their loved ones. We cannot thank every single member of the Rugby Support Group enough for their continued support.
Our Rugby Support Group are always looking for new members to join them to help with fundraising for Myton. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month to discuss plans for the month ahead.
