The shop’s new Manager and Assistant Manager, Angela and Joe, cannot wait to throw the doors open and welcome everyone. This charity shop will be different from many others with a strong focus on vintage, collectable and niche items.
We caught up with Angela and Joe ahead of the official opening at 11am on Thursday 24th August to find out more about them and their plans for the Far Gosford Street shop.
Angela said: “I have been running my own business selling vintage clothing, jewellery and accessories. The Far Gosford Street shop is going to be a charity shop like no other, a concept store, with a strong vintage presence. We will have ladies and menswear, accessories, books, vinyl and quirky homeware. I’m hoping to bring my eye for vintage style to the shop.”
Joe said: “I’ve worked in retail for 12 years doing fancy dress, toys, novelties, furniture, homeware, gifts; quite a lot of different things. I’m hoping to bring some geek-chic to the shop! It’s going to be quirky, eye-catching and different. We definitely want to stand out from the crowd!”
Everyone is welcome to join us for the grand opening at 11am on Thursday 24th August to enjoy a first look at the shop as well as some celebratory refreshments. The new shop is opposite the entrance for Fargo Village.
