Last week, we have been celebrating Charity Shop Fashion Week. Running from Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th September, Charity Shop Fashion Week celebrates preloved fashion and encourages charity shops across the UK to showcase outfits that reflect sustainability.
We marked the occasion by collaborating with local fashion influencer, Abbie. At our Cannon Park shop, we challenged Abbie to style three autumn inspired outfits for our window display. Embracing the challenge, Abbie curated some stunning looks, perfectly reflecting the cosy, yet stylish, season, using only donated pieces from our shop.
Highlighting the vast diversity of charity shop fashion, Abbie’s outfits showcase the best autumnal style, from cosy knitwear to chunky boots and bold patterns to neutral accessories.

Coming to a total of £76.50, this could almost cover the cost of three hours specialist nursing care at The Myton Hospices.
At The Myton Hospices, our charity shops play a crucial role; funding the care of 1 in 4 of our patients. By shopping at, and donating to, one of our 25 shops, you are helping to ensure we can provide our services free of charge to people with life limiting illnesses and their families, whilst also promoting a more sustainable and responsible approach to fashion.

I loved being invited to Myton Hospice for Charity Shop Fashion Week. It was so much fun getting creative with the mannequins - mixing & matching different items in-store to create the looks.
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important to me, especially when it comes to fashion! I was shocked with how many amazing pieces I could find & it’s great knowing that your money is going to such a good cause!
We are a charity, not the NHS, and this year alone we need to raise £11 million, by shopping with us you are helping to enable us to continue providing vital care, so we can be there for more people, now and in the future.
We have recently launched our Urgent Appeal to raise £240,000, to ensure more people in Coventry and Warwickshire can access a Hospice Bed when they need to.
