We need volunteers to help in our shops on Sundays!

Are you free on Sundays and want to help a local charity? Some of our charity shops are now open on Sundays and we are looking for some amazing people to volunteer their time to help.

We have 25 charity shops across Coventry and Warwickshire with a wide range of volunteering roles available, from volunteering on our tills to sorting through donations. We particularly need volunteers who can give a few hours to help on Sundays.

Volunteering roles include:

  • Till Volunteer
  • Retail Volunteer
  • Furniture Shop Volunteer

Shops extending their opening hours to Sundays are:

  • Leamington Spa - Bedford Street
  • Leamington Spa - Warwick Street
  • Warwick
  • Kenilworth
  • Nuneaton - Bridge Street Furniture Shop
  • Rugby - Church Street
  • Rugby Central Shopping Centre Furniture Shop
  • Coventry - Cannon Park
  • Coventry - Smithford Way
  • Coventry - Trinity Street
  • Stratford upon Avon - Wood Street
  • Stratford upon Avon - Alcester Road (Morrisons)

Volunteering at one of our shops is a great way to gain new experience, training and a chance to meet new people, in exchange for your time and skills.

Kerrie Grayman-Smith, Head of Volunteering at The Myton Hospices, said:

At The Myton Hospices, our charity shops play a crucial role; funding the care of 1 in 4 of our patients. By volunteering at one of our 25 shops, you are helping to ensure we can provide our services free of charge to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire.

We are a charity and this year alone we need to raise £11 million, your support enables us to continue providing our vital care, so we can be there for more people, now and in the future.
