Thanks to the generosity of our amazing supporters – including our wonderful corporate contacts, community groups, schools, staff, volunteers, patients and their loved ones – we were able to raise vital funds for Myton through Easter Egg tombolas.

A special thank you goes to all our corporate contacts who donated eggs, and to Freightline, who kindly donated beautifully prepared baskets filled with eggs for our Warwick Myton Hospice Inpatient Unit. Your kindness brought smiles to the faces of our patients and staff over the Easter weekend!

We’d also like to thank the Central Shopping Centre in Rugby, Asda Rugby, Tesco Walsgrave, Tesco Clifford Bridge, Tesco Warwick and Morrisons Leamington Spa, who generously hosted tombolas in their stores.
A huge thank you to our incredible Coventry Support Group, Rugby Support Group, and volunteers in Leamington & Warwick who ran the tombolas for us. And lastly, to everyone in the community who bought tickets and helped us raise an amazing £3,959.65 – we couldn’t have done it without all of you!

Rachael Ryan, Community Fundraising Manager at The Myton Hospices, said:
We are a charity, we are not the NHS, and we have to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it costs this year to continue providing our services free of charge. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to ensure we can care for and support as many people living with a life-limiting illness, and their families, across Coventry and Warwickshire as possible. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped spread a little Easter joy this spring – we hope you enjoyed the chocolate!
