The Myton Hospices have a limited number of FREE places for this year’s Coventry Festival of Running 10k! Why not join #TeamMyton to take on this exciting new event.
Taking place on the same day as the popular Coventry Half Marathon, the 10K distance will take 30 minutes after the start of the half.
Participants of both events will start on Gosford Street before heading through the city and surrounding areas whilst Coventry's awe-inspiring ruins and new cathedral act as a backdrop to the finish.
Accessible for all abilities to jog, walk or run, promoting inclusivity regardless of physical ability. The Coventry 10K boasts a great opportunity for those looking to soak up the race day atmosphere while tackling a shorter distance to the half marathon.
Not just a route with something for everyone to appreciate, runners will be rewarded with a goody bag, including post-run treats and a bespoke medal for them to remember the day.
Come and join #TeamMyton on Sunday 27th April to take on this incredible challenge!
We are asking our supporters to pledge to raise a minimum of £100 in return for a FREE half marathon place, which would cover the cost of 4 hours specialist nursing care.

Drop-off stations will be made readily available next to the Race Office, located in the Event Village on the Knavesmire.Trainers will then be sent onto the JogOn HQ, ready to be passed on for a new lease of life and redistributed to those who need them most. Where possible, the JogOn Again scheme enables the reuse of unwanted shoes by giving them to those in need, through distribution by partners in eleven hubs around the world. Where reuse is not an option for the shoes they are shredded, and their remains are reused for other purposes. To find out more about this fantastic initiative, please visit their website below:https://www.jogonagain.com/
