We are delighted to be holding our Light Up A Life service at each of our three hospices this year...
Each year we come together at Light Up A Life and remember those no longer with us. In return for a donation you can dedicate a light on our Christmas tree.
You will help light up the hospices this Christmas and ensure we can be there for more people when they need us most, now and in the future.
On the evening there is also a screen that projects the names of loved ones as the service takes place, lit by candlelight.
Whether this is the first time you are attending Light Up A Life, or if it has become a Christmas tradition, by dedicating a light on the tree you are not only remembering those special to you, you are also supporting others.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The services are led by our team and include musical performances by local schools, choirs and brass bands, along with poignant readings and special words from various members of our wonderful team of dedicated staff and volunteers.
We also offer complimentary light refreshments. If you can’t come to a Light Up A Life service you can still dedicate a light on our tree and join us by taking a moment to tie your remembrance tag to your tree at home.
Light Up A Life takes place on the following dates:
Coventry Myton Hospice – Sunday 7th December 5pm
Rugby Myton Support Hub – Friday 12th December 7pm
Warwick Myton Hospice – Sunday 14th December 6pm
Donations of £40 or more will also receive a limited edition wooden photo frame...
How to make a dedication...
You can make a dedication by clicking the “Dedicate today” button and completing the short form no later than the dates below if you would like your loved one’s names displayed during the services.
You’ll also have a chance once you have completed your dedication to leave a memory on our online memory wall. Please note this will not be included in the Light Up A Life service. You will then receive a card and remembrance tag(s) in the post.

Reflecting on her time at Myton, Milly said:
Everyone and everything about Myton is magical. It’s the little things that mean the most. Like the memory boxes and having the children’s toys in the common area so Jasmine and Jada can play. The nurses greet them like they’re family and love having them around. That’s the difference between a place like Myton and a hospital.
Milly died peacefully on December 3rd, aged just 38, with her loved ones by her side. She took great comfort in knowing that her mum and children could access post-bereavement support – and that they had created lasting memories to treasure.
