Join us on Sunday 21st May 2023 for the ultimate day out in the Warwickshire countryside for you and your loved ones - Walk for Myton!
Starting and ending at our Warwick Myton Hospice, Walk for Myton is the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside with family, friends and even your four-legged companions, while raising vital funds for The Myton Hospices.
With three routes to choose from, including a casual 3-mile stroll, a more challenging 6-mile walk, and a 12-mile hike for those looking to push themselves, there's a route for everyone.
Setting off anytime between 8:30 am and 10:30 am, you can take in the stunning views and enjoy the fresh air as you complete your chosen route. And as a thank you for your efforts, every participant will receive a Butterfly seed packet upon completion of their route - a symbol of hope for our future.
Brand new for this year there will also be a Scavenger Hunt along the routes for all the family to enjoy, as well as entertainment at the refreshment stops.
Entertainment...
But the fun doesn't stop there! After you've completed your walk, you're invited to join us in the beautiful grounds of Warwick Myton Hospice for a post-walk BBQ and entertainment.
There will be something for everyone, including live music from the talented Holly Butchelor and Kirsty Michella-Storer, a bouncy castle, games, and an in-memory garden at the front of the hospice, where you can take part in a poem trail and craft hand painting activity.
In memory...
We know many of you take part in Walk for Myton in memory of someone special who is no longer with us. It's a chance to remember loved ones while helping to raise vital funds for our important work across Coventry and Warwickshire.

If my child is in a pushchair do I have to sign them up?
All children under the age of 18 we ask if you could please purchase a child ticket for £3. This year we have added a scavenger hunt for children of all ages to enjoy. Children have the option to receive a certificate on completion of the scavenger hunt and also a beautiful seeded butterfly for them to plant when they get home. Once arriving back to the hospice there will also be a variety of other children’s activities for them to enjoy, e.g. hand painting and a bouncy castle.

The disabled person will need to buy a ticket as normal and notify us via email of the details of your designated carer before the day of the event. Help us reach our £25,000 target!
You can rarely scroll through your Facebook newsfeed without seeing at least one fundraising page and that is because it is one of the most effective, easiest ways of encouraging families, friends and colleagues to sponsor you.
By setting up a JustGiving page, you can share your fundraising page on social media as little or as often as you want to. Having an online fundraising page also means you do not have to physically collect money after the event, plus Gift Aid is automatically calculated and processed.
If you haven't already why not set up your online fundraising page through JustGiving with just a few simple clicks.
Facebook Fundraising...
Please let us know, by emailing the Events Team on events@mytonhospice.org, if you set up a Fundraiser on Facebook; we receive limited information from Facebook which makes it extremely hard for us to link the donation to your fundraising otherwise.
