We’d like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at our Light Up A Life services this year!

Over 900 of you joined us at one of our three hospices as we came together to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us.

In exchange for a donation, dedications were made to shine a light on our Christmas trees in memory of loved ones and to have their names displayed in our services.

An amazing £33,000 has been raised so far from your generous donations which will help light up our hospices this Christmas and ensure we can be there for more people when they need us most, now and in the future.

Thank you to each and every one of you who donated this year and joined us in our reflections and celebrations.

We were brought together by the festive carols sung on the night and we were moved by the speeches and readings from Myton staff, trustees and supporters.

We were blown away by the talents of the choirs. Thank you to Sue Morris and The Myton Singersr, Warwick School, Rugby Male Voice Choir, Avon Valley School and St John Fisher Catholic Primary School for singing so beautifully.

Christmas just isn’t Christmas without the sounds of a brass band – thank you to Royal Spa Brass and Dunchurch Brass Band for your stunning performances.

We would like to give our deepest thanks to our volunteers for generously donating their time on the wet December evenings to make these poignant events special for everyone in attendance.

A big thank you has to go to Wilf Smith and Son for sponsoring these events and for supplying refreshments in conjunction with Central Co-op.

Thank you to F Weetman & Son for donating the Christmas trees, and to PSL Distribution Ltd and N.S.Booth Electrical Contractors Ltd who provided the sound and lighting for the events.

Thank you to Sainsbury’s, Myton School, Hospital of St Cross and UHCW for allowing us to use their car parking facilities, and to Stagecoach for providing a shuttle bus.

We really appreciate all your wonderful support and couldn’t put on such events without your help!

Each year, we look forward to our Light Up A Light to remember the loved ones no longer with us. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
