At Myton we rely on a team of around 900 volunteers who give up their time to help us with a wide range of tasks.
From working on reception and in our hospices to volunteering in our shops, as drivers, at our events and as members of our fundraising and pastoral care teams - we just couldn't operate without them!
We estimate that if we paid all our volunteers the minimum wage for the hours they do it would cost us an extra £1 million a year to run our hospices.
Many of our volunteers have been with us for several years and get great enjoyment and satisfaction from being a part of our team.
