Due to the fact of wanting to pursue my career in a health organisation, I was delighted that Myton would allow me to undertake my week of work experience with them.
At the beginning of the week I was extremely nervous but all of the staff put me at ease straight away with their caring nature.
What Jodie covered…
During my week here at Myton I have covered and experienced many different departments; ranging from reception, to catering and coffee shop work, to Learning and development and marketing. Having covered so many different departments it has given me a really good insight into how a healthcare organisation is run.
Even though I have only spent a short period of time here I must comment on how hardworking and dedicated the staff and volunteers are and how friendly and welcoming they have been towards me.
The atmosphere…
I cannot express enough how lovely the atmosphere at Myton is and what a wonderful place it is to work. If given the opportunity, I would definitely return to Myton and spend another week on work experience with them.
