Head of Learning and Development, Andrew Wilson, judges prestigious NHS Leadership Recognition Awards.

The NHS Leadership Recognition Awards have swiftly become one of the most established awards for leadership at every level in the NHS. They recognise leadership from the Board to the frontline, from patients to clinicians, and managers to domestic staff.

Andrew Wilson, Head of Learning and Development at Myton, was asked to be a judge for the West Midlands categories and attended the awards ceremony on Tuesday 28th February in Birmingham.

Andrew said:

Good leadership leads to good engagement of staff which in turn leads to excellent patient experiences, as the Head of Learning and Development here at Myton I believe that good leadership is a cornerstone of what we do and I was honoured to be asked to be a judge in these respected awards.

About its awards, the NHS Leadership Academy says: These awards highlight people and teams who may otherwise go unnoticed who are crucial role models of good leadership and its impact. Outstanding leaders have a direct and positive impact on patient care and we’re proud to celebrate everyone who directly or indirectly provides exceptional care to patients and acts as an inspirational leader
