The bird-friendly items have been donated courtesy of the Pershore-based environmental charity Welcome to our Future which secures funding from charitable trusts and sources the items from the RSPB.
WTOF Fund Manager, Bill Richardson said:
We are delighted to be able to supply bird boxes and feeding tables to the Myton Hospices as we know that they will bring much enjoyment for many people and, of course, give the birds a helping hand.
They have taken up proud residence at Myton’s three hospices in Coventry, Rugby and Warwick, all ready for the breeding season ahead.
Bird life is so important to us here at Myton as our patients, families and staff love listening to the birds sing and watching them in our beautiful grounds.
A link to the natural world is beneficial to everyone in so many ways and we look forward to the birds enjoying these nest boxes and feeding tables over the coming months and years.
