On Saturday 18th May 2024 at 2.30pm, join Brian and the orchestra at Methodist Central Hall in Coventry and immerse yourself in the beautiful live music. Introduced by ‘Songs of Praise’ presenter, Pam Rhodes, get lost in the music from Superman, Out of Africa, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Radetzky March, Beauty and the Beast and many more.

‘Orchestra for an Occasion’ is sponsored by Roger Medwell, MBE, DL.

Roger Medwell and his wife, Patricia, met in 1960 at a social night in Holbrooks in Coventry.

In 2020, Pat discovered a lump on her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Roger said:

Pat started to deteriorate rapidly. We desperately wanted Pat to spend her final days with us at home. Myton at Home nurses descended like angels from the sky to guide us, to reassure Pat and to offer their expert, palliative care, whilst consoling and advising us every step of the way.

Myton at Home visited Patricia twice a day.

I will be forever grateful to the nurses. Even though they were only with us for a short amount of time it would have been impossible for us to do what the nurses did.  They gave us so much freedom within our family so we could try to enjoy the time we had left with her. The support they gave was incredible and we’ll never forget their selflessness in our time of need. They really were angels!
