Staff at The Myton Hospices celebrated its 35th birthday with a throwback to the 1980s.

On 1st June 2017 we dusted off our neon leg warmers, hair crimpers and costume jewellery to celebrate the start of The Myton Hospice’s 35th birthday month.

Some staff shared fond memories of the decade and those who weren’t born in the ‘80s looked on in awe – and horror – at some of the outfits which had been resurrected for the occasion! A throwback photo board pitted staff against each other to guess which picture belonged to which person from three and a half decades ago. There was also an abundance of ‘80s snacks on offer – cheese and pineapple anyone?

We would like to thank Warwick Lanterne Rouge Cycling Club who paid our Warwick Myton Hospice a visit to officially start Myton’s Virtual Race!

Monkey and Paddy from the club kicked the event off before staff set off on a 35 mile static-bike ride.
