Kenilworth Fashion Show helps to raise vital funds for The Myton Hospices

On Thursday 29th May, our Charity Shop in Kenilworth organised a fantastic fashion show at the Holiday Inn in Kenilworth, showcasing stylish finds from our Kenilworth shop and NV HER Clothes shop in Warwick.

The event featured stunning looks modelled by volunteers and staff from our Kenilworth shop, Michelle from our Lottery team, and team members from NV HER Clothes. They all looked absolutely phenomenal on the catwalk!

The evening was expertly led by power team Sue, our Kenilworth Shop Manager, and Sandra, our Relief Shop Manager. The pair were joined by our dedicated team of volunteers and Sharon, Manager of NV HER Clothes.

Carl Prinzel, Retail Area Manager at The Myton Hospices, also gave a great presentation about Myton’s work and why events like this are so important to help raise vital funds.

We were delighted to be joined by our fantastic customers and supporters from both shops.

Thanks to ticket sales, a raffle and stock sold on the night, the event raised an incredible £2,000!

We’d like to say a special thank you to Neil Jones and his company, Rudzki and Jones, for generously covering the cost of hiring the room at The Holiday Inn.

Neil also recently completed the London Marathon in support of The Myton Hospices – an incredible achievement! His wife, Louise, is one of our fabulous volunteers and also took to the runway as a model on the day.

Carl said:

I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us on the night for some great fashionable fundraising for Myton. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of our local community. You are helping us ensure Myton is ‘Here for everyone, now and forever.’ Thank you!

Following this success, the team are now planning another fashion show for the autumn.

Did you know…? We are a charity, we are not the NHS and we need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it costs this year to continue providing our services free of charge to our patients and their families.

Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success – our vital work wouldn’t be possible without you!
