Dancers of all ages from Jaykays Dance Company have raised over £800 for The Myton Hospices!

For the past 14 years Jaykays Dance Company has performed at the Warwick Summer Fete and helped us to raise vital funds. Sadly, this couldn’t happen this year because of the Coronavirus pandemic but this wasn’t going to stop Jaykays from showing their support for Myton.

On the weekend our Summer Fete was set to take place, the Leamington Spa-based dance school held an online marathon of dance classes and performances to raise money for Myton!

The dedicated teaching team danced for an incredible 7 hours and around 70 students took part and donated to help raise £839!

Jeren Hogben, Principal at Jaykays Dance Company, said:

We have supported The Myton Hospices for many years as it is a charity that means a lot to many of our families within the dance school.  We are so pleased we could still fundraise despite the fete having to be cancelled.

We couldn’t continue to be there for patients and their families during the Coronavirus pandemic without the support of people like the students and teachers at Jaykays – thank you all so much!
