Turn Your Leftover Foreign Currency into Compassionate Care…
Got spare euros, unused dollars or old UK coins gathering dust in a drawer? Don’t let them go to waste.
You can donate your unwanted foreign currency to The Myton Hospices and help us raise vital funds to support people living with a life-limiting illness, and their loved ones, across Coventry and Warwickshire.
How it works…
We Accept All Currencies – Even the Ones You Thought Were Useless…
Whether you’ve returned from holiday with coins you can’t exchange, found old notes in a drawer, or have leftover currency from countries you may never visit again – we can put it to good use. We accept:
-
All foreign coins and notes
-
Old British and Irish coins
-
Pre-decimal and pre-euro currencies
-
Damaged and commemorative coins
-
Even if your currency is out of circulation, it still has value when donated to Myton.
Donate in Our Shops and Hospices…
You can also drop your leftover foreign or old currency into any of our charity shops or hospices. Simply, head to the till or reception and ask a member of the team for assistance or lookout for our Donation Tube.
What Happens to Your Foreign Currency?
We work with a trusted provider to sort and exchange the currency you donate.
Every penny we raise helps us provide specialist palliative and end of life care across our services – including our Inpatient Units, Myton at Home, and our Patient and Carer Wellbeing Services.
Your Small Change Can Make a Big Difference…
At The Myton Hospices, we believe everyone matters for every single moment of their life. We support people aged 18 and over who are living with a life-limiting illness, helping them to live well for longer and die with dignity.
Did you know…?
We are not part of the NHS. We are a charity and this year we need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it will cost to continue providing our services free of charge to our patients and their loved ones.
Just 17% of our funding comes from the NHS – the rest relies on donations and support from amazing people like you.
