Thanks to the generosity of our amazing supporters – including our wonderful corporate partners, community groups, schools, staff, volunteers, patients and their loved ones – we were able to raise vital funds for Myton through our Easter Egg tombolas.
An incredible £3,297.22 was raised thanks to you!
Our Easter Egg tombolas took place in supermarkets and shopping centres across Coventry and Warwickshire. Thank you to everyone who came along and took part for their chance to win an Easter Egg.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Melissa at Tesco Cross Point and Tesco Warwick, Jayne at Tesco Clifford Bridge Road, and Gemma at Asda Rugby for their support, generous Easter Egg amnesties, and for welcoming us into their stores.
The tombolas raised:
- £518.75 at Morrisons Leamington Spa
- £572.61 at Tesco Warwick
- £1,153 at Tesco Coventry Cross Point
- £1,105 in Rugby Town Centre
An extra special thank you goes to our Coventry Support Group and Rugby Support Group for organising and running these successful events, and working tirelessly to raise vital funds for Myton – we really appreciate your amazing support!
We are also incredibly grateful to the businesses that donated Easter Eggs, including Access Self Storage Coventry, Terberg International (Dennis Eagle), ABM Catering Warwick, Lantra, Exima, Wren Sterling, Unipart Foleshill, Hammons Solicitors, and Warwick Signs.
Rachael Ryan, Community Fundraising Manager at The Myton Hospices, said:
Thank you to everyone who donated Easter Eggs and helped spread a little Easter joy this spring. The support we received from individuals, schools, community groups and local businesses was truly incredible, and we are so grateful for every donation.
Every pound raised makes a difference to our patients and their loved ones, and we couldn't do what we do without the kindness and generosity of our community. We hope everyone who took part enjoyed the chocolate, and we'd like to thank everyone who helped make these events such a success!
It costs over £15 million every year to provide our services free of charge to our patients and their loved ones. As a charity, with less than 20% of our funding coming from the NHS, we must raise more than £12 million this year.
