Maria is a cancer nurse educator and researcher with a special interest in Adolescent/Young Adult Cancer Care. She spent the last 22 years working in a UK university and now works independently as a health care consultant supporting organisations in the UK and beyond, to improve the care of young people with cancer.

When not at work she enjoys travelling,  good food and the company of family and friends.
