My name is Laura Eaton, I’m a Community Fundraiser at The Myton Hospices.

I help to support individuals, community groups and businesses across Rugby and Southam who organise their own events in aid of Myton and equip them with the tools and supplies to make their fundraising as successful as it can be for the Charity. I also search within the local area and seek out any new support from individuals, groups and businesses for Myton and help to spread awareness of what we do and the amazing support and care we provide to those across Warwickshire.

I love meeting lots of different people and seeing all of the amazing fundraising results that our supporters achieve. It’s very heart-warming to see so many people in the local community who come together and do such selfless things to ensure that money is raised for Myton.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new places and taking little adventures on the weekends. Spending money and shopping for new clothes is definitely a hobby for me too!

I lived abroad for a few years before I joined Myton and worked as a Wedding Coordinator in Greece – I would have to stand next to the Priest at the ceremony and translate his words in to English, meaning I got to pronounce couples as man and wife!
