I joined The Myton Hospices in October 2015 in a temporary role as the Training Administrator after being made redundant from my previous role as a Personal Assistant for an Automotive company and was also looking for a different direction and a new challenge.

At this time the training department only consisted of myself working part time.

I was immediately made to feel very welcome by everyone I met at The Myton Hospices and it soon became clear there was great passion and enthusiasm from all I met for a good education and training programme.

Two months after commencing the role I became a permanent member of staff and with the developing and growing department increased my working hours and became the Learning and Development Administrator.

We are now able to offer a wide range of training programmes in addition to the core mandatory programmes which were in place when I started.

I am fortunate to live in a beautiful little village just outside Leamington Spa with a thriving and friendly community which I take an active part in whenever possible.

When I am not in the office you can find me either on my allotment or in my garden, with my partner, growing a variety of fruit and vegetables and looking after 7 chickens and a cat!
