My name is Rachael Ryan, I’m a Community Fundraising Manager at The Myton Hospices.

I lead our Community Fundraising team to support local groups, schools, businesses and individuals who want to raise money for The Myton Hospices. I also work to raise awareness of Myton in the local community, sharing the amazing work that Myton do and inspiring people to support in any way they can.

I love the variety of working in Community Fundraising – no two days are the same! In one week I can be attending an event, working with our Marketing team to create new fundraising initiatives, and then looking at data and reports! I also love that this role allows me to meet so many wonderful people, who share very touching and personal stories – it’s so rewarding to be able to support them with their fundraising, which often means so much to them.

I love going to see live music and you will often find me at a gig! Alongside that I love spending time with my family, especially my 4 wonderful nieces, and exploring brunch and dinner spots with my friends!
