Karl is the Chief Executive Officer at The Ambulance Staff Charity which supports the physical, financial and mental wellbeing of the staff in our Ambulance Services. He is also a Trustee at Independent Age and formerly Chair at WCS Care Group Ltd. Karl brings a wealth of experience from the public, private and charity sectors and is passionate about positive ageing, end of life care and volunteering.

Karl was appointed Chairman of The Myton Hospices in September 2020.
